What is a government-funded training programme?+
A government-funded training programme (formerly known as an apprenticeship) is a structured programme of on-the-job training and learning, funded through the Growth & Skills Levy. Employees gain a recognised qualification while working. It is designed for professionals at any stage of their career, not just school leavers.

How involved do managers need to be?+
Active involvement is key to getting the most from the programme. Managers are encouraged to have regular one-to-ones with their learner to discuss progress, set workplace projects, and support the application of new skills. We provide guidance to make this as straightforward as possible.
What if an enrolled employee leaves during the programme?+
If an employee leaves during the programme, they withdraw from the training. You should notify iO-Sphere as soon as possible so we can update records and handle the administrative process. There is no financial penalty to the employer.
