What we believe

People get good by doing the work, alongside someone who's done it.

That's how every one of us learned the job, and it's how our learners learn it: real work on real problems from the first week, with the theory arriving when the work needs it.

It's also why our coaches are practitioners, not lecturers. You learn fastest next to someone who's done the work and can catch the mistake you're about to make.

Nobody starts from zero, and that includes you. Your years of doing the work are the hard half of being a good coach. We teach you the rest, and fund your Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

The job

Your learners keep progressing. You own that.

Your learners are career changers on our Skills Bootcamps, working professionals on our apprenticeships, and employer teams on our commercial programmes. Apprentices do the work on real problems inside their own organisations; on some programmes, learners also work in Prism, a simulated business we built on 500 million rows of real data.

That means coaching the work and the judgement around it, not delivering content: asking the right question, knowing what the data can and can't say, and making the answer land with the people who need it.

Your week

  • Live coaching. Live sessions built on scenarios and direct feedback, not slides.
  • A caseload you know by name. You watch pace, not just completion, and step in early when someone goes quiet.
  • One-to-ones. Conversations that build confidence and momentum. On apprenticeships, a monthly one-to-one with every learner and a quarterly review with their employer.
  • Marking and feedback. Work marked within 48 hours, with feedback specific enough to act on.
  • Records. The evidence a regulated provider needs, kept straight, because someone's qualification depends on it.
  • Support. We're piloting learner success coaches, who work alongside you on the progress side.

Why you'd want it

Do something different with what you know.

  • You'll stay sharp

Instead of one organisation's data, you'll see a dozen: different sectors, different messes, different questions.

  • You'll watch people grow

Someone goes from nervous about their first query, or their first AI policy, to the person their team turns to, and you were part of why.

  • You'll help build how we coach

We're a startup, and how we coach isn't finished. If you see a better way to teach something, we want it, and we'll put it in.

2027 is when we scale, with new programmes and a bigger team. If you want to join something early and grow with it, this is the time.

What you'd coach

Your background decides which areas you lead on, but you won't be stuck in one narrow lane.

  • Data Analytics

SQL, Excel, Power BI, analytical thinking and data storytelling

  • AI Transformation

AI tools, workflow automation, business analysis and change management

  • Data & AI Strategy and Governance

Data governance, AI governance, GDPR, risk and compliance frameworks

Is this for you?

You'll love it if

  • You have deep, hands-on expertise in at least one of the areas above.
  • Other people getting good at something gives you energy.
  • You can make a complex idea land with someone from a different background, without dumbing it down.
  • You want the pace and ownership of a startup.

It's probably not for you if

  • You want a few sessions a month. Coaching here is a real job: full-time, or at least two days a week.
  • You'd rather present content than own whether people get there.
  • You want every process finished before you arrive.

Questions coaches ask us

Do I need teaching experience?

No. We hire practitioners and teach them to coach. We fund your Level 3 Award in Education and Training, so you don't need it before you apply.

Can I work part-time?

Yes: two to four days a week, as well as full-time. What you do with the rest of your week is up to you, including other work. We also hire on fixed-term contracts.

Where would I work?

Mostly remotely, anywhere in the UK. Our London office is in E1, by Liverpool Street, and some programmes have in-person days, which each role spells out. We meet in person about once a quarter.

We also have coaches in South Africa, working from our Cape Town office and remotely.

What checks are there?

Every coaching role needs a criminal record check: an enhanced DBS check in the UK, or an apostilled police clearance certificate in South Africa.

A criminal record does not automatically stop you from being considered. All the checks before you start.

What does it pay, and what comes with it?

Every role shows its pay. Fixed-term contracts are paid for the contract.

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays in the UK, 20 days plus public holidays in South Africa
  • We close between Christmas and New Year
  • Workplace pension with a 3% employer contribution for UK roles
  • Laptop provided
  • Funded Level 3 Award in Education and Training for coaches who need it
  • Flexible working hours
Can you sponsor a visa?

No. You need the unrestricted right to work in the UK, or in South Africa for roles based there.
