Data Analytics Coach, London

You've built dashboards people use and written SQL that answered real business questions. Now you want to teach it.

You'll coach a cohort of career changers through our Level 4 data analytics Skills Bootcamp: Excel, SQL and Power BI, on real problems in Prism, our simulated business built on 500 million rows of real data. Depending on your experience, you may lead the cohort or coach alongside a lead coach.

What you'll do

• Teach live sessions in person at our Liverpool Street office, running scenarios and direct feedback rather than reading slides
• Run one-to-ones, drop-ins and office hours so nobody quietly falls behind
• Run suitability conversations with new joiners and exit interviews, and give information, advice and guidance (IAG) throughout
• Put additional learning support (ALS) plans into practice and teach inclusively, so everyone can access the material whatever their starting point
• Mark Level 4 submissions using our AI-assisted flow in iO Academy: review the draft, make the final judgement against each criterion, and write feedback specific enough to act on
• Spot risk early and work with the Delivery and Quality teams
• Run and record interventions when a learner needs support, and keep ALS plans, contact and progress up to date in Aptem, to the standard a regulated, inspected provider needs
• Support learners towards data roles: portfolios, interviews and what comes next

What you'll need

• Hands-on data analysis experience: SQL, a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau or similar), and the judgement that comes from real work
• An engaging presenter, in the room and on a video call: you hold attention, read the group and keep people involved
• Confidence leading a room and explaining technical ideas to people from non-technical backgrounds
• Clear written English and an eye for detail in feedback
• An inclusive approach: you adapt so learners with different needs and starting points all get there
• The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent, or readiness to complete it quickly. We fund it
• Right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship
• Experience delivering Skills Bootcamps is a bonus, not a requirement

Afterwards

Depending on programme volume when the contract ends, there is a real route into further bootcamp delivery, trainer or apprenticeship coaching roles with us.
