Data Analytics Coach, Oxford

You've built dashboards people use and written SQL that answered real business questions. Now you want to teach it.

You'll deliver our NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Data as a Skills Bootcamp for career changers in Oxfordshire: mostly online, from prepared session packs, plus six in-person days in Oxford. You'll carry the cohort from first session to final submission.

What you'll do

• Deliver live online sessions and in-person days from prepared session packs
• Run drop-ins, office hours and one-to-ones so nobody quietly falls behind
• Run suitability conversations with new joiners and exit interviews as learners complete or move on
• Put additional learning support (ALS) plans into practice and teach inclusively, so everyone can access the material whatever their starting point
• Mark NCFE unit submissions using our AI-assisted flow in iO Academy: review the AI-drafted feedback, make the final judgement against each criterion, and write feedback learners can act on
• Watch pace, not just completion, and flag anyone at risk early to the Delivery and Quality teams
• Run and record interventions when a learner needs support, and keep ALS plans, contact and progress up to date in Aptem, to the standard a regulated, inspected provider needs
• Give information, advice and guidance (IAG) on progress and next steps, and support learners with CVs, portfolios and interview preparation

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
• An engaging presenter, in the room and on a video call: you hold attention, read the group and keep people involved
• Real data analysis experience, from work, study or serious projects
• Confidence explaining technical ideas to people from non-technical backgrounds
• Patience and organisation, and energy from seeing other people get good at something
• An inclusive approach: you adapt so learners with different needs and starting points all get there
• The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent, or readiness to complete it quickly. We fund it
• The ability to get to Oxford for the six in-person days
• Right to work in the UK. We cannot offer sponsorship
• Experience delivering Skills Bootcamps is a bonus, not a requirement

Afterwards

Depending on programme volume when the contract ends, there is a real route into further bootcamp delivery, trainer or apprenticeship coaching roles with us.
